ICE DISPENSING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: An ice dispensing apparatus is provided to extract ice cubes in an easy manner through chute operation by using a heater to slightly melt ice cubes contained in an ice cube tray prior to a dispensing operation. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a main body(30) having a motor(50) embedded within the main body; a hanger(32) having an end fixed onto the main body, and the other end extended in a lengthwise direction and equipped with a shaft support portion(34); an ice cube tray having a plurality of ice making recesses(42), a connection shaft(44) arranged at a side surface of the ice cube tray so as to be coupled with a motor shaft(52) of the motor, and a support shaft(46) arranged at the other side surface of the ice cube tray so as to be coupled with the shaft support portion of the hanger; and a heater(60) attached to the bottom surface of the ice cube tray.
