<p>Sealing compositions useful in subterranean wellbore completion and remedial operations are provided. The compositions generally comprise a cationic monomer, a cross-linker, a polymerization initiator, and a thixotropic agent. The compositions can further comprise a delaying agent, a gel stabilizer, or a complexing agent. The disclosed compositions provide desirable properties for use in a number of sealing and isolation applications, and are particularly well suited for use in the completion of horizontal or highly deviated wells.</p> |
