The packing for a frozen food product with preferably a round base has an inner and an outer enclosure, the inner enclosure being a film and the outer a protecting and/or stabilizing container which may be in the form of a cardboard box (3). The food product (1) and inner enclosure are in at least two sections, the two sections (1.1,1.2) of the food product each having separately a section of the inner enclosure. The outer enclosure may have at least two chambers side by side or one above the other for the two sections of the food product.
