PURPOSE: A method for preparing a detergent is provided, which detergent contains medical materials to endow the useful medical and healthful effect due to the materials. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of obtaining medical materials from herbal medicine materials, vegetables, fruits and other plants, sea weeds and other animals; and mixing the obtained medical materials with common detergent composition. The medical materials is obtained by squeezing out and/or fermenting herbal medicine materials, vegetables, fruits and other plants. sea weeds and other animals. The detergent can be prepared in the form of liquid, powder or solid.
