PURPOSE: An SMPS(Switching Mode Power Supply) including an automatic or manual on/off switch of the computer peripheral devices is provided to offer the convenience to a user by turning off the power of peripherals at a time and to avoid consuming the unnecessary stand-by power. CONSTITUTION: The SMPS(1) includes a 1,2,3,..,Nth input terminal for the power supply of the peripheral devices such as a printer, a monitor, a scanner and so on at the one side of power input terminal. The switch installed in an automatic on/off controller is turned on/off by a part of DC power of the SMPS according to the switch manipulation of computer main body and the command of software(power off command of Windows). Thus, the power applied through the power input terminal of SMPS automatically controls turning on/off the power of SMPS power input terminal(10) supplied to the 1,2,3,..,Nth input terminal through the automatic on/off controller.
