PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescence device and its manufacturing method is provided to prevent performance deterioration of the light emitting device by reducing leakage current between upper and lower electrodes. CONSTITUTION: An organic electroluminescence device comprises an ITO thin film(20) deposited onto a transparent substrate(10); an insulating film(30) formed outside the ITO thin film and onto the transparent substrate; an organic luminous layer(40) formed onto the ITO thin film, and which emits light upon applying of voltage; a metal electrode layer(50) formed onto the organic luminous layer; and a metal oxide film(60) formed onto the metal electrode layer by a mixture of nitrogen and oxygen during encapsulation of a seal cap(80).
