PURPOSE: Spring settling structure of a shock absorber for a vehicle is provided to reduce assembling process and working hours by integrally forming a protecting member with a tube for protecting a spring of the shock absorber. CONSTITUTION: A protecting member(10) is installed between lower seats(5), and integrally formed with a tube(4) covering upper and lower part of a spring(3). The spring absorbs shock by compressing in moving up and down. The protecting member includes a pad(2) placed in the contact surface of the upper seat or the lower seat. Plural tubes are formed around the pad, and fixing ends(4a) are inserted to fitting grooves(2a) of upper and lower seats and the pad. The spring is covered with the tube, and placed in the seat. Assembling process and working hours are reduced with integrally forming the protecting member and with inserting fixing ends of the tube to fitting grooves of upper and lower seats.
