<p>The invention concerns an appliance comprising a housing consisting of two articulated shells maintained spaced apart by a spring (4) two hot plates (5, 6) arranged in the housing, locking means for maintaining the housing closed countering the spring, means for adjusting (12) cooking parameters, and means for controlling the locking means to urge them in unlocked position in accordance with cooking parameters, thereby controlling the opening of the housing under the effect of the spring (4), the locking means comprising a locking component linked to one of the shells (1) so as to be mobile between an unlocked position wherein it co-operates with a locking finger (24) integral with the other shell (2), a spring for urging back the locking component in unlocked position, and a relay magnet (25) controlled by the control means, for maintaining the locking component in locked position.</p> |
