An image editing method for editing an image according to an image edition pattern selected in consideration of the feeling about the image in creating an electronic album. An electronic album transmitting/distributing system comprising feeling input means for inputting feeling information about an image, image edition pattern recording means (14) where the image edition pattern is recorded, means (15) for defining the relation between the feeling information and the image edition pattern, image edition pattern selecting means for selecting the image edition pattern corresponding to the inputted feeling information according to the relation from the image edition pattern recording means, image editing means for editing an image inputted through an image inputting means according to the selected image edition pattern, and edited image transmitting/distributing means (101) for transmitting/distributing the edited image through a network.
