FREQUENCY CONTROL METHOD, FREQUENCY CONTROL DEVICE, AND COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

A frequency control method at a receiving station for acquiring received data by receiving and demodulating either the signal transmitted from a transmitting station to the receiving station and adapted to or not a time/space block transmitting antenna diversity. The frequency control method comprises generating a carrier frequency by doubling or dividing the frequency of the output clock signal of a voltage-controlled oscillator belonging to the receiving station, demodulating the base band signal from the received signal by using the generated carrier frequency, despreading the band of the base band signal by using a known timing and a known spreading symbol to decode the received data, determines the phase difference between two paired symbols having one or a plurality of symbol spaces in a group of symbols having identical characteristics, and controlling the frequency of the voltage-controlled oscillator of the receiving station by using the determined phase difference of the groups, thereby to provide a high-performance DS-CDMA cellular communication system which is free from asynchronism might otherwise be caused by the frequency offset even if a change of the communication situation such as a handover due to a high-speed movement is caused.
