A tape cartridge allowing a spring member with excellent function to be stored in the saved space thereof for eccentrically moving, in closing direction, a door member for opening and closing a tape extraction opening, wherein one tape reel having a tape wound thereon is rotatably stored in a case body, the tip of the tape is fixed to a pin-like leader member, the tape is extracted to a device by a tape extraction member through a tape extraction port provided in the case body, and the door member opening and closing the tape extraction port is energized by a spring member in closing direction, the spring member, formed of a coiled spring, comprising two coil parts connected to each other through a connection part, a first arm part for connecting one coil part to the connection part at an angle and allowed to abut on the case body at the end part thereof, and a second arm part for connecting the other coil part to the connection part at an angle formed in the direction reverse to the angle and locked to the door member at the end part thereof.
