The degasing method and device has a partial stream diverted from the hydraulic system return flow and fed to the bottom of a degasing container (3) via a filter (1) and a flow limiter (2), with a pressure measuring device (13) coupled to a control (12) for operation of a pump (5), feeding the liquid in the degasing container back to the return flow via at least one further flow limiter, together with non-return valves (6) inserted after the pump and in a top-up line, allowing a vacuum to be provided in the degasing container.
