The invention concerns a method for making a resin with controlled rheology, increasing the melt index of the resin by chain cleavage, by incorporating in said resin in viscous state at least a multifunctional stable free radical. The invention enables to improve the properties of ductility of the resin without substantially decreasing its fluidity or its modulus.
