A spray drying process for preparing a solid catalyst and composition for use therein comprising a catalyst compound, an activator for the catalyst compound, and at least one compound selected from among siloxanes, polyalkylene glycols, C1-4 alkyl or phenyl ether or diether derivatives of polyalkylene glycols, and crown ethers, and optionally a filler or support.
