The invention relates to a parking brake for a vehicle, comprising a brake actuating lever (3) which is arranged on a lever support (2) in an articulated manner; a coupling unit (11) which tightens a brake cable (12) when the brake actuating lever (3) is moved; and a fixing device (13, 14) which is used to hold the brake actuating lever (3) in a fixed position. A parking brake which reliably enables the brake cable to be tightened is created by pivotally connecting the brake actuating lever (3) to the lever support (2) by means of a multi-articulation (4). |
