<p>A method and a system for distributing a limited resource (7) such as a pre-selected number of prizes or the like are provided. The system comprises a cell box (6) in a cellular radio network for continuously providing a connected server (9) with information concerning the occurrence of pre-selected terminals (21) in selected cells (20) in the network. Databases (1, 2) in the cell box (6) and databases (3, 4, 5) in the server (9) are used for this purpose. When a terminal (21) is located in a selected cell (20), the server (9) sends a question or the like (11) to the terminal (21) via a transceiver station (10). If a user of the terminal (21) gives an incorrect answer, the user is advised thereof (11). If a correct answer is given, the server (9) offers the limited resource (7) in form of a value code in another message (11). The system allows for two-way communication between a server (9) and a mobile terminal (21) based on the position of the terminal in the network, eg for advertising purposes.</p> |
