<p>The invention concerns an air intake device for an internal combustion engine, in particular for electronic injection engines. Said device comprises a housing (11) and a mobile air flow regulating member (12) housed in an inner cavity (13) of said housing. The mobile member comprises a central passage (16) providing communication between an inlet (14a) and an outlet (14b) and circulation of an air flow. The regulating member (12) rotates about an axis of rotation (15) and can adopt all the positions between so-called extreme opening and closing positions. The inner cavity (13) is delimited by at least a surface of revolution (20), and the regulating member (12) comprises at least a surface of revolution (30) designed to co-operate with the surface of revolution (20) so as to be pressed against each other in the closing position. The centre of curvature (17) of the surface of revolution (30) of the regulating member (12) is offset relative to the axis of rotation (15) of said regulating member.</p> |
