PURPOSE: Conductors using silver and ceramic composite, granite, as raw materials are provided, which maximize resistivity, improve strength and workability, lower specific gravity, and emit far infrared rays. CONSTITUTION: The preparation method of conductors is as follows: heating 90-99.5wt.% of Ag at 672-864deg.C, in a vacuum furnace, wherein the temperature is correspondent to 70-90% of Ag melting point (960deg.C); adding 0.5-10wt.% of each granite powder(A, B), being less than 0.1 micrometer in size, with 0.5-10wt.% of inert gas flowing, where the gas and granite powder are supplied to the lower part of molten Ag in the furnace; heating to the temperature of 30deg.C higher than the melting point of Ag,and stirring for inserting granite powder into the lattice of Ag; and molding. Granite powder(A) comprises 79.76wt.% of SiO2, 9.87wt.% of Al2O3, 0.21wt.% of Fe2O3, 3.79wt.% of K2O, 2.81wt.% of Na2O, 1.59wt.% of CaO, 0.86wt.% of MgO, 0.5-2ppm of Ge and 1.29wt.% of trace constituents. Granite powder(B) comprises 79.89wt.% of SiO2, 14.92wt.% of Al2O3, 0.31wt.% of Fe2O3, 1.24wt.% of K2O, 0.64wt.% of Na2O, 1.89wt.% of CaO, 0.17wt.% of MgO, and 0.94wt.% of trace constituents.
