Multiplexing is prepared for a new user by shortening the transmission timing intervals of connected users in a time slot of low multiplicity. Contrarily, multiplexing is not prepared for a new user by maintaining the transmission timing intervals of connected users as much as possible in a time slot of high multiplicity. As a result, it is possible to set up a preparation slot for a new user while maintaining the transmission timing intervals as wide as possible. Degradation of the characteristics is prevented since the transmission timing intervals of connected users in a telephone channel are maintained as much as possible. The shift of the transmission timing for a new user is performed during a control channel period, and therefore most suitable transmission timing intervals are realized when a telephone channel is set up. These processings are carried out by a DSP (l4).
|
