To the input member is coupled a playing part (15), controlling the tone generation and contg. a graphical surface (10) with several mutually different surface sections (12,13), which transmit a corresp. control signal to the tone generator on touch. For presentation of the surface regions is provided an optical output device (26). There are elements generating symbols on the graphical surface. A signal generator has control members (27) for selection of surface sections.
