ELECTRO-ACOUSTIC TRANSDUCER FOR ELIMINATING INTERFERING NOISES

In the field of sound reproduction electroacoustic transducers are used. Their technology not only generates sound but interfering noises as well, which is a direct consequence of their operating conditions. The invention concerns a method for installing, in parallel to the already existing sound reproduction system in conventional enclosures, an additional information through an electroacoustic transducer. That principle is very different from a surround system or an additional echo sound reproducing system which aim at providing sound effects. The present method consists in an acoustic coupling enabling to suppress the interfering noise effects of sound transducers by creating a silence effect. The apparatus (Fig 1) of the present method is an additional electroacoustic transducer (1), for a stereo system with one or several channels (2), inserted in only one of the enclosures, electrically mounted in parallel on one of the electroacoustic transducers (3). The impedance of the additional transducer should be at least twice that of the impedance of the transducers used in the system wherein said novel anti-interference transducer with very low, almost inaudible output.
