PURPOSE: A device for preventing engine oil consumption is provided to improve the reliability of a vehicle by having a counterflow prevention device for the engine oil in a ventilation hose, and thereby preventing engine oil consumption, the pollution of an air hose and the failure of engine srarting. CONSTITUTION: A ventilation hose maintains the internal pressure of a crank case between a head cover of an engine and an air hose. A cover(10) is mounted on the predetermined position of the ventilation hose and is formed to penetrate the interior in order to prevent engine oil consumption by preventing the counterflow of the engine oil. And the cover has a first fitting pipe(11) on the upper part and a fixing groove(12) on the bottom face. A casing(20) is mounted to the fixing groove and is formed to penetrate the interior and has a second fitting pipe(21) on the bottom face. An intercepting member(30) is installed in the upper part of the casing and the bottom face of the cover, and prevents the flow of engine oil counterflowed from the engine.
