<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming images by which stable electrification property can be always maintained without causing any electrification failure (image defects) due to contamination of an electrifying member in a contact electrifying system. SOLUTION: In the method for forming images to carry a collected residual toner after transfer by using a screw type carrying means to a collecting container, the amount of the toner carried on a toner carrying body is restricted by a plate type magnetic blade which is disposed at a specified distance from the surface of the toner carrying body and which has >=0.4 mm thickness of the top end. The electrifying member has an electrifying rotator having a surface with >=40 deg. contact angle with water. The toner is prepared by externally adding (i) one or more kinds of fluidizing agent selected from a group consisting of silica fine powder, titanium oxide fine powder and alumina fine powder and (ii) composite inorganic oxide powder to toner particles containing at least a binder resin, coloring agent and wax.</p> |
