<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing polymerized toner used as a toner which accompanies with no remarkable degradation of electrification even when left standing under high temperature and high humidity conditions and enables obtaining a more stable picture even at the time of durability. SOLUTION: In this method for producing polymerized toner, a polymerizable monomer composition containing at least polymerizable monomer and colorant is suspended in an aqueous medium containing a hardly water-soluble dispersion stabilizer and is polymerized, colored resin particles are formed, thereafter, acid is added into the suspension containing the colored resin particles, the hardly water-soluble dispersion stabilizer is solubilized into the aqueous medium, and the colored resin particles are filtered from the aqueous medium by a filter press method, subsequently are washed by water, are dehydrated and dried. Therein, it is a feature of this method for producing polymerizable toner that, after the colored resin particles are filtered from the aqueous medium by means of the filter press, water is supplied from the suspension supplying side of the finer press, the washing is performed and, thereafter, water is supplied from the filter side and, thus, the washing is performed.</p> |
