<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner consisting of spheric or nearly spheric polyester resin, with which fixing without using an offset preventing liquid, namely a so-called oil-less system is made possible as the method of heat roller fixing and that developed images with excellent quality can be obtained. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner is prepared by the method for manufacturing resin particles encapsulating at least a coloring agent and release agent in a binder resin by using polyester resin (I) containing acid groups as the binder resin and mixing a mixture containing at least the binder resin, coloring agent, release agent and organic solvent with a water- based medium in the presence of a base to emulsify. The release agent incorporated into the mixture is prepared as a dispersion liquid of the release agent obtained by mixing the release agent with a dispersant in an organic solvent and further pulverizing and/or dispersing the mixture in a medium.</p> |
