ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner consisting of spheric or nearly spheric polyester resin such that fixing without using an offset preventing liquid, namely a so-called oil-less system is made possible as a heat roller fixing method and that developed image with excellent quality can be obtained. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner is obtained by the manufacture method to prepare resin particles encapsulating at least a coloring agent in a binder resin by using polyester resin (I) containing acid groups as the binder resin and mixing and emulsifying a mixture containing at least the binder resin, coloring agent and organic solvent in a water-based medium in the presence of a base. The coloring agent to be incorporated into the mixture is prepared as a dispersion liquid of the coloring agent obtained by finely dispersing the coloring agent in an organic solvent in the presence of a dispersant.
