摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber replacing device which easily realizes reduction in facility cost, suppression of propagation loss, and an increase in connection number and is resistant to even a high-output laser beam. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with transmission-side optical fibers 42a to 42c, which have collimator lenses 41a to 41c formed integrally on their tip end surfaces; reception-side optical fibers 45a to 45c, which face the transmission-side optical fibers 42a to 42c across a free space 43 and have collimator lenses 44a to 44c which are formed integrally on their tip end surfaces; and optical deflectors 54a to 54c, and 55a to 55c, which control the propagation directions of light signals emitted from the transmission-side optical fibers 42a to 42c and collimated into parallel light beams by the collimator lenses 41a to 41c in the free space and make the light signals incident on arbitrary reception-side optical fibers selected from among the reception-side optical fibers 45a to 45c via the collimator lenses.
