METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID DRIVE TYPE OPTICAL SWITCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid drive type optical switch which has no leakage of a refractive index matching liquid from a groove for optical path switching. SOLUTION: Alloy 15, having higher heat-resisting temperature than the resin used as a sealing member for the refractive index matching liquid 14, is adopted, and resistance to higher temperature (150 deg.C) can be obtained and the refractive index matching liquid 14 will not leak from the groove 5 for optical path switching, so that the liquid crystal drive type optical switch has high reliability.
