PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten measuring time on an optical component with a wide dynamic range in an optical component measuring device for measuring the wavelength characteristics of the optical component. SOLUTION: A plurality of measuring ranges (low-/intermediate-/high-gain ranges) are set according to power levels. Temporary measurement is performed in one measuring range (intermediate-gain range) from among them. From the temporary results of measurement, a sweep measuring range (λ2-λ3 in the low-gain range,λ1-λ4 in the intermediate-gain range,λ0-λ5 in the high-gain range) for every set measuring range are set. In the set sweep measuring range, the optical component measuring device performs sweep measurements on the objective optical component.
