PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crucible type induction melting furnace capable of efficiently melting an iron metal in high quality. SOLUTION: The crucible type induction melting furnace comprises a heating coil 2 wound around the melting furnace 4 and a cylindrical coil cement 3 covering the furnace 4. The furnace 4 further comprises a double container made of an outside container 4a of a refractory material obtained by molding and drying the refractory material, and baking at a high temperature and an inside container 4b detachably disposed in the outside container 4a obtained by molding and drying the refractory material without baking at the high temperature.
