<p>PURPOSE: An air diffuser of aeration tank type is provided, which can enhance oxygen supply to sewage and wastewater by sufficient fine bubble generated by continuous contact of air to spheres that has many grooves and rotates by forced air flow coming from the bottom. The system can also prevent any back flow of water to air supplying system by a check valve in case of emergency such as power failure. CONSTITUTION: The diffuser comprises an inverted frustum(10) and an elbow tube(100) that is connected to the side bottom of the frustum(10). The inverted frustum(10), the main body of the air diffuser(10), has many finely vertically corrugated fins around the inside wall, some jaws(13) at upper periphery, many sludge discharge holes(12) at the bottom plate and at the side bottom a communicating hole(11) is provided to connect a check valve(30) of coupling type that is connected to an elbow pipe(100). Many spheres(50) are filled in the main body(10), covered by a cover(20) having many air holes(21) and tightened by jaws(13) and bolts(22). Air coming through the elbow pipe(100) diffuses through a sparger that is inserted into the spheres(50), the sparger being fixed by an internal connecting device(40) firmly by O-ring(35).</p> |
