INSTRUMENT AND METHOD FOR MEASURING DEFLECTION OF CRANK SHAFT

PURPOSE: An instrument and method for measuring the deflection of a crank shaft are provided to make a journal part rotational angle and a pin part rotational angle correspond to each other with high precision when the deflection of the crank shaft is measured. CONSTITUTION: An instrument for measuring the deflection of a crank shaft(1) is composed of an angle detecting means(7) detecting the rotational angle of the crank shaft(1); a distance detecting means(8) detecting the inside-thigh distance of a crank arm(4); and a processing unit(9) finding the deflection of the crank shaft(1) by processing data of both the detecting means(7,8). The distance detecting means(8) and processing unit(9) are connected by radio bidirectional data communication.
