PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device for a linear guide capable of securing the required sealing performance over the entire area of a lip part. SOLUTION: A cross-sectional shape along the moving direction S of a slider is changed only for the lip part 8 which seals an approximately semicircular ball groove provided on a side face of a guide rail, so that the pressure of contact of the lip part 8 is adjusted to become relatively high. That is, for the lip part 8 making contact with the upper half of the ball groove 1c, the end of the lip part 8 making contact with the upper half of the ball groove is set to have an arc with a greater radius than the arc of the end of the lip part 8 making contact with the lower half of the ball groove, as seen from the moving direction S of the slider (longitudinal direction of the guide rail). Thus, decreases in the sealability of the lower contact portion of the ball groove on the side face of the guide rail and in the sealability of the upper surface of the guide rail are prevented at the same time.
