PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new vulcanization promoter alternative to a conventional vulcanization promoter such as ethylene thiourea used in chloroprene rubbers. SOLUTION: This vulcanization promoter for chloroprene-based rubbers comprises a compound having a structure of the general formula (1) (R1 is a 1-10C alkyl or the like; R2 is H, a 1-20C alkyl or the like; R3 and R4 are each a 1-20C alkyl or the like; these groups may be substituted with 1-5C alkyl groups(s), amino group(s) or 1-5C alkoxy groups(s)).
