PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition excellent in a antioxidant property, mechanical strength, electrical resistance and insulating properties. SOLUTION: This resin composition is obtained by hot-pressing a mixture of a pelletlike or a granular thermoplastic resin with water under subcritical conditions of the water, melting the thermoplastic resin and cooling the molten resin. An antioxidant substance produced by a useful microorganism group is preferably contained in the water.
