PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a readily water-soluble and stable composition containing conivaptane hydrochloride. SOLUTION: This readily water-soluble and stable pharmaceutical composition containing conivaptane hydrochloride crystal as the active ingredient is characterized by having the most intense peak near the interplanar spacing 7.82 in the powder X-ray diffraction spectrum thereof given by the use of Cu-Kαrays.
