PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator capable of easily controlling the output. SOLUTION: This generator comprises a second generating system composed of pumps 26a, 26b, 26c, etc., connected to plural steam turbines 24a, 24b, 24c, etc., driven by the steam produced by an exhaust heat recovery boiler 22 recovering the waste heat of a first generating system, a water turbine 28 driven by the pressurized water current of the pumps, and a water turbine generator 40 driven by the water turbine 28, in addition to the first generating system composed of a turbine generator 18 driven by a gas turbine 16. Intake ports of the pumps 26a, 26b, 26c, etc., driven by the steam turbines 24a, 24b, 24c, etc., are respectively connected to a scupper of the water turbine 28, discharge openings of the pumps 26a, 26b, 26c, etc., are respectively connected to a water guide port of the water turbine 28 to form a circulating water system, and a water turbine generator 40 can be driven by the circulating water of the limited amount.
