摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform dehumidification without reducing a room temperature by properly feeding gas discharged from a compressor to an indoor heat exchanger depending on a difference between preset and room temperatures during dehumidifying operation. SOLUTION: During cooling and dehumidifying operations, gas discharged from a compressor 1 flows to an outdoor heat exchanger 3 through a four-way valve 2. It is subjected to heat exchange, condensed to be liquefied, and reduced in pressure by an expansion valve 4 to be reduced in temperature and pressure. Then, it flows to an indoor heat exchanger 6 through a two-way valve 5 to cool air in the room by heat exchange. Thereafter it is evaporated by absorbing heat to become a gas of low temperature and low pressure, and returns to the compressor through a three-way valve 1 and the four-way valve. During the dehumidifying operation, when a difference between preset and room temperatures is small, gas discharged from the compressor and branched to a bypass channel 8 is allowed to flow to the indoor heat exchanger in small quantity by slightly opening a solenoid valve 9, while when the preset temperature is higher than the room temperature, the discharged gas is allowed to flow to the indoor heat exchanger in large quantity by largely opening the electromagnetic valve, so that the dehumidified air is heated to the preset temperature. The solenoid valve is closed when the preset temperature is lower than the room temperature during dehumidifying, heating and cooling operations.
