PURPOSE: Provided is a coin selector with image treatment technique based which compares image data of coins with standard data to judge whether coins are forged or not so that it helps to select the forged coins without the change of mechanism. CONSTITUTION: The coin selector with image treatment technique based comprises the parts of: a coil sensor(301) which bases change of magnetic field by coins to generate a signal for selecting materials; an A/D converter(303) which converts an analog signal generated from the coil sensor into a digital signal; an optical lens(304) which obtains image of coins inserted; an image interface part(305) which interfaces image of the coins as a certain form; and a microprocessor(306) which compares input data from the A/D converter with standard data to judge metallic materials and rotates image data in a certain angle to compare with standard data for judging whether the coins are forged or not.
