PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming device carrying out resist adjustment by utilizing a small number of patches and correcting variation in density of the patches at the start of generation of the patches and at the finish. SOLUTION: In the color image forming device installed with a multiple number of image forming units, it is constituted so that printing positions of each image forming unit is adjusted, the patches of a resist deviation position when the density is maximum and of a resist deviation position when the density is minimum are generated, the deviated quantity of resist is calculated by a calculation formula from a value of density that is actually detected between them and resist correction is carried out. |
