<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that prevents the back of a recording sheet from being soiled with toner, by securely removing stuck toner on a secondary transfer roller even when a recorded image is formed with toner that contains wax. SOLUTION: The image forming device has the secondary transfer roller 30 which secondarily transfers a toner image from an intermediate transfer body 20 to the recording sheet P, and a brush roller 31 which scrapes toner stuck to the secondary transfer roller 30. The image forming device uses the toner that contains wax. In the image forming device, if an outside diameter of the secondary transfer roller 30 is R1 (mm), its peripheral speed is V1 (mm/sec), an outside diameter of the brush roller 31 is R2 (m), its peripheral speed is V2 (mm/sec), and density of bristles attached to the brush roller 31 is D (the number of bristles/inch2), the following conditions are satisfied. (Expression 1) 5×103<=(R1/R2)(V2/V1)×D<=6×105.</p> |
