PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of preventing delivery of information on a useless route in the state where the degree of scale reduction of a road map displayed on a screen of a navigation device can be selected optionally by a user. SOLUTION: This navigation device has a scale reduction information notification control means for notifying this route information delivery device of scale reduction information for displaying the degree of scale reduction of the displayed road map by using a prescribed radio communication system. The route information delivery device has a route information generation means for generating information on the route displayed based on the scale reduction information notified from the navigation device, and delivers the information on the route generated by the route information generation means to the navigation device loaded on a moving body.
