Bearing mounting with an outer race (6) immobilised in a bore (7) radially separated from an inner race (5) by rolling bodies located between the said races and respectively in contact with raceways carried by the inner ring and raceways carried by the outer ring located on either side of a median zone (11), characterised in that the raceway (13, 13') is laterally adjacent to a zone (12, 12') of the outer race (6) which can be deformed elastically under the action of a radial stress directed towards the axis of the bearing and respectively bearing on the wall of the bore under the action of the radial expansion force exerted by the said zone so as to define the mounting bearing surface of the outer race in the said bore. <IMAGE> |
