PURPOSE: A treatment method of fluorine ion containing wastewater is provided, which can easily reduce fluorine content to 10 ppm by low cost thus simplifying the system and utilize sludge generated during the treatment as raw material of cement. CONSTITUTION: The treatment method comprises the following steps: (i) feed to fluorine containing wastewater more than 5 wt.% solution of hydrochloric acid that react with calcium carbonate; (ii) adjust the pH of wastewater to higher than 5.0 by feeding caustic soda; (iii) feed until the pH of wastewater come to 4.0-10.0 mixture of less than 1 wt.% of polymeta sodium phosphate and more than 5 wt.% of activated aluminum compound or solution or solution containing rare earth compound; and (iv) feed coagulant related.
