PURPOSE: An apparatus for treating sewage and waste-water and a remote monitoring and controlling system therefor are provided to remotely control an operation state of a monitor and the state of a purged water, add a power line modem function to the monitor, and collect data in a central management system by a power line. CONSTITUTION: A consumption power analyzing unit(13) connects to an analog/digital converting unit(12). A main control unit, input and output unit, and data analyzing unit(20) connects to a microprocessor(11). A water level monitoring sensor and driving unit(4), a water quality monitoring sensor and driving unit(5), and a sewage eliminating state sensor and driving unit(6) connect to the microprocessor(11). An LCD unit(16), a functional key(17), a data output communication unit(18), an information output unit(19), and a power line communication modem(23) connect to the microprocessor(11). A current time generating unit(21) and a data storing unit(22) connect to the microprocessor(11). A voltage input unit(14) and a current input unit(15) connect to the consumption power analyzing unit(13).
