摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic molding derived from a polymer having a high density of at least 85% of a theoretical value, which is capable of manufacturing by the production technique of plastic, and exhibiting a low shrinkage of less than 10% during manufacturing and sufficient dry sliding property of the molding, a manufacturing method thereof by thermal decomposition and a sliding element using the molding. SOLUTION: The ceramic molding having a composition composed of 30-80 wt.% polymer component, 0-30 wt.% filler and additionally 10-70 wt.% graphite based on the total weight of the mixture, containing a single phase or polyphase amorphous, partially crystalline or crystalline matrix composed of a mixture of silicon carbide (SiC), silicon nitride (Si3N4), silicon dioxide (SiO2) or, for example, an oxycarbide, oxynitride, a carbonitride and/or an oxycarbonitride and derived from the polymer is manufactured by being heated for the cross- linking bonding of the polymer component and successively being subjected to a thermal decomposition process. Particularly the molding composed of polysiloxane, polysilazane or polycarbosilane is manufactured.
