PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watertight container wherein watertightness can be obtained without using a packing, and an operation can be stably done even if a plurality of containers are bundled by a rubber band or a plurality of them are carried in a single hand. SOLUTION: The watertight container comprises a cylindrical container body 8 having an opening 2 on a top and a circular protrusion 12 on a base 6, and a cap-formed lid 4 having a cylindrical seal 9 inside and a recessed top plate 13 into which a circular protrusion 12A is fitted on an upper part of the exterior while the lid 4 is detachably put over the body 8. The container is designed so that the seal 9 of the lid 4 is inserted into the opening 2 to bring the seal 9 into contact with an inner periphery of the opening 2, and an outer periphery of the lid 4 is substantially leveled with an outer periphery of the container body 8. Thus, even when the plurality of the containers are bundled by a rubber band or carried in a single hand, the operation can be stably done. |
