PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera, in which an operation means connected to the camera via a communication cable, can be used as a wireless remote control device. SOLUTION: In this camera, an operation device is constituted to be detached from a camera body and the communication cable, and can transmit a wireless remote control signal to the camera body, in a state where it is detached from at least either the camera body or the communication cable.
