PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera, whose driving performance is stabilized and whose reliability is enhanced, by preventing dust and dirt from entering a driving mechanism for feeding films, etc. SOLUTION: A wall 14 is arranged so t hat it surrounds a film-feed driving unit 106, which is attached to the lower part of the camera body part 101, and a step part 16 is formed at the leading end of the wall, and a protective member constituted of a base plate 15 as a cover is fitted to the step part 16 and is fixed by screwing to nearly seal the driving unit 106.
