PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items and make the management easier in fixing structure of a select cable of a column shift type A/T. SOLUTION: A guide pipe 33 is attached to a cable bracket 31 fixed to a dash panel 32 so as to direct the select cable 21 to the predetermined direction. The select cable 21 is constituted of an inner cable 22 and an outer cable 23. The outer cable 23 is inserted into the guide pipe 33. On the cable 23, cable stoppers 1, 2 are respectively fixed on a portion on the engine room 27 side and a portion inside a vehicle compartment 24. The cable stoppers 1, 2 respectively have insertion portions lb, 2b that are inserted between the guide pipe 33 and the outer cable 23. Further, the cable stoppers 1, 2 respectively have positioning portions 1f, 2f that are brought into contact with end portions of the guide pipe 33 to position the select cable 21 in the axial direction.
